Eugowra Showgrounds hosted utility dogs and their handlers from around the country for the 2021 NSW Utility Dog Championships last weekend.

Approximately 140 working dogs and their handlers travelled from Tasmania, Victoria and all over NSW to take part in the championships which lasted from April 16-18.
The winner of this year's NSW Utility Dog Championship was Molong's Nigel Brazier with Braziers Pat whose rounds of 80+ 88 gave them a 168 point total.
But it was highly competitive with Gary White and Whites Chrissy coming in with one point less.
Gary White and Whites Chrissy's round of 89+77 gave them a total of 167 points.
Eugowra local Kevin Howell and Karana Roy came in third place with their rounds of 93+72 giving them a total of 165 points.
Coordinator Kay Howell said in a post to Facebook that a great weekend was had by all that attended with beautiful weather and great company.
Mrs Howell said they had several people to thank for their help across the event.
"Thank you to our judges, Greg Walton for the Nursery and Geoff McDougall for standing for three days to judge the Novice/ Open. Great job," she said.
"Lastly a big thank you to the boys in the back yard letting the sheep out for three days, big days - Grant Howell, David Brassell, Peter Allen, Becky Honeyman, Greg Walton and any one else who helped out," Mrs Howell said.
Mrs Howell thanked helpers Louise Brassell, Lyn Peter Allan and Bec Honeyman, and Judd from the Fat Parcel for great food.
As well as those who helped out on the day, Mrs Howell said they would like to give a big thank you to all their sponsors.
