Dozens of rugby sides from across the state converged on Orange for the championships.
Ryan and Clancy attend Canowindra High School and play for the Cowra Canowindra U14s Junior Rugby side.
The championships were held in icy mud and near freezing temperatures at the Orange Emus complex after heavy snow just three days prior (there was still snow on the sidelines at one of their games).
A Cowra Canowindra cheer squad was on the sidelines with family and friends braving the icy conditions to watch the boys.
Both recieved high praise from Sydney University coaching staff not just for their sportsmanship participating in the side, but for their quality of rugby.
Unfortunately, Clancy injured his knee midway through the three day tournament
