Celebrating their centenary the Tigers produced what coach Kevin Grimshaw described as one of the side's best defensive efforts of the season to date.
"It was a good win," Grimshaw said.
While the win looked comfortable on the scoreboard Grimshaw said it wasn't all one way traffic for the premiership favourites.
"The score probably didn't indicate the toughness of the game, probably because of the conditions.
"It was predominately played up the middle and just on the edges, there wasn't a great deal of movement in it but when we could move the ball we looked pretty good, so I was impressed with that.
"We trained that way on the Sunday morning before we played, that was our game plan to keep to the conditions, have a good kick and chase and defend well.
"The guys did everything expected of them and performed really well.
"Defensively it was probably one of our better defensive games," Grimshaw said.
Kane Earsman and Logan Harris picked up injuries from the game with Earsman indicating he'll be right to play this week.
Harris has a calf injury and is the only player in real doubt going ahead with the Tigers programmed to take on Peak Hill Roosters.
That game is however in some doubt after a COVID scare but Grimshaw is planning for the match to proceed.
"I've heard nothing different yet, I haven't heard from Peak Hill or Woodbridge Cup that we're not playing."
While it's business as usual for the Tigers Group 10 and Woodbridge Cup bosses are expected to meet with NSW Rugby League officials this week to determined whether or not the recent COVID-19 scares across the region will force competitions into a short pause.
Woodbridge Cup president Andrew Pull was hopeful the meeting with NSWRL would ensure the 2021 premiership can continue.
Peak Hill had to have its round 14 clash with Trundle last weekend postponed with a number of the Roosters players currently working at the same depot exposed to a positive case in Parkes last week.
"Everything's happening this week," he said.
He admitted if there was cause for the competition to break for a week to ensure player safety then the Cup would look at it.
"We're looking forward to getting more info from NSWRL," Pull said.
Tigers defeated in League Tag and Youth League
In other games last weekend the Tigers went down 14-4 to Cargo in Youth League and were kept scoreless in League Tag, Cargo running out winners 58-0.
The Youth League match was a real slugfest with both sides trying to gain the ascendency.
At the half time break the Tigers trailed 6-4 with their only points coming via a try out wide to Eli Reid.
The Tigers had their chances in the second half but failed to capitalised on good field position, the final pass going to ground on a number of occasions.
The one time the Tigers did cross the stripe the try was disallowed after a lost ball.
Canowindra lacked control and Cargo controlled the ball better in the wet conditions to run out deserved 14-4 winners in a close game played in muddy conditions.
League Tag
With Canowindra running third and Cargo on top of the table a close game was anticipated but it wasn't the case..
Cargo proved their dominance in the competition and had the game well in hand mid way through the second half leading 42-0.
They went on with the job eventually running out winners 58-0.
