Benny Bow was the first to salute breaking his maiden at start number eight.
After failing at its previous outing, finishing seventh of eight at Bathurst on September 13 over 307 metres, Benny Bow ($4.70) was only moderately away over the 318 metre journey from box 3 but railed up to take the lead and raced away to score in 18.78.
On the line the son of Fabregas and Layla Swift had two and a quarter lengths to spare from outsider Arrogant Benji ($20.70, Len Haaring) with Speed Strike ($2.90, Graham Dixon) a further quarter of a length back in third place.
Shelly Swift ($7.10) was next Braddon trained runner to score, taking out the third of four heats of the Country Challenge over 318 metres and in the process giving Layla Swift two winners for the night.
Unlike Benny Bow, Shelly Swift is by My Bro Fabio.
The other three heat winners were the John Lawson trained Tarnie, Subzero Stallone, trained by Robert Harrison and the Braddon's Rain's Delight.
Shelly Swift was the second fastest of the heat winners, recording 18.54 for the trip. By comparison Tarnie covered the 318 in 18.35.
Saturday's win was a welcome return to form for Shelly Swift, which had finished out of the placings at its previous four outings.
Rain`s Delight ($15.70) completed the Braddon treble, giving the kennel two of the four heat winners.
Leading throughout Rain's Delight scored by a head in 18.81 from Spring Renegade ($5, Scott Beard) with Mulla Mulla Marg ($5.20) one length back in third position.
Fernando Fusion continues winning run
The Rebecca McDonald trained Fernando Fusion ($1.60) made it three on the trot at Goulburn last Thursday.
Only fairly from box 4 away Fernando Fusion soon had the leading division in his radar racing away to score very impressively in a fast 19.68.
The win was his 16th.
