The case is one of 24 new cases identified in the Western NSW Local Health District during the same timeframe.
The other cases are in the Dubbo, Cowra, Blayney and Narromine local government areas.
16 of the cases are in Dubbo (11 in Wellington, five in Dubbo), four in Cowra, two in Blayney and one in Narromine.
Pop up drive-through testing is available Canowindra Showground today (Monday, September 27) and tomorrow (Tuesday, September 28) from 10am to 4pm.
NSW Health urges local residents to be particularly vigilant for the onset of symptoms that could signal COVID-19, and if they appear, to immediately be tested and isolate until a negative result is received.
Those without symptoms can get tested at the local pop up clinic and and may not have to isolate until they get results.
While no exposure sites have yet been listed by NSW health, the Cargo General Store has informed locals on its Facebook page it would be closed until further notice as they had a positive case in store last Tuesday, September 21.
