Roger Traves played Westy Wyburn in an entertaining match where Westy held a slender lead for most of the match.
Roger was able to win the last two ends to win the match 153-152.
In another match Ben Rooke played Peter Taylor where Ben, being a young rookie player (pardon the pun), had a surprising win 152-118.
Barney Robson played Teddy Lawrence met in a close scoring game where Barney won the match 150-142.
Harry Webb played Jack Webb in another close scoring game where Jack won 153-147.
In the final match Trevor Hoy played Brad Bourke where Brad had a comfortable win 150-130.

Friday January 14- Twilight social mixed mufti bowls with names in by 6pm for 6.30pm start.
Sunday January 16 - Consistency singles- B Rooke vs T Tuimauga, marker M Lawrence. R Traves vs D Watt, marker A Wyburn. N Delaney vs L Fisher, marker P Taylor. D Crowe vs J Webb, marker H Webb. These matches will commence at 11am.

Saturday January 29 - Anniversary Open Triples Day. $1260 prize money. Three games of 13 ends being a round robin tournament. Play commences 9am. $90 per team. Entries close January 28 or when filled.
Sunday January 30 - Ron Worboys Memorial Men's 3 bowls pairs. $1140 prize money. 3 games of 13 ends being a round robin tournament. Play commence 9am. $60 per team. Entries close January 28 or when filled.
Nominations are now open for the major and minor singles as well as the major and minor pairs.
Wednesday badge draw will be $100. Friday badge draw will be $2000. Sunday badge draw will be $550.
