A person from Canowindra with COVID-19 was one of four deaths reported by Western NSW Local Health District (WNSWLHD) on the weekend.

The person's death was reported in the 24 hours to 8pm on Friday, January 29, with WNSWLHD offering its condolences to the loved ones of the individual.
Another three people with the virus, listed as being from Dubbo, died in the 24 hours to 8pm on Saturday, January 30.
WNSWLHD said there were 25 people in hospital with COVID-19 across the district up to 8pm on Saturday.
Three people were receiving treatment in intensive care units.
In the previous 24 hours, there were 26 people in hospital with COVID-19 across WNSWLHD, with three in ICU.
159 positive PCR test results and 231 positive Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) results were identified in the district on Sunday, with 15 of those in the Cabonne local government area.
There were also 117 in Orange, eight in Cowra, 79 in Bathurst and 16 in Blayney.
There were 282 positive PCR test results and 189 RATs in the district announced on Saturday, including 25 in Cabonne and 115 in Orange.
