"We're going there to win," Pythons coach Tom Roth said.
Trial games on the day will feature the Canowindra Pythons, Eastern Suburbs Rugby Club, Molong Magpies and Orange Emus.
Gates open at 12 noon with the Pythons in action from about 1pm featuring in trials against Molong and Sydney side Eastern Suburbs.
"We're looking really good," Roth said as the Pythons continue pre-season training.
At least 25 different faces have been taking part in training, he said, as the club continues preparations for the 2024 season.
"It's all local blokes, its unbelievable, we've got everyone from sitting on the fence to turning up. Once they all realised that we're going to have a good crack at it this year, they're all ripping in.
"We're playing two 30 minute games (on Saturday) to see how fit we are and what we've got to work on," he said.
"We're going there to win, we're not playing football to lose."

It's an opportunity, he said "to get good spirit in the club and to roll into the season as winners".
"All the boys have (been pleasing on the training paddock).
"Hayden Ewart has been ripping in, he hasn't played footy for about 10 years but he's looking really good," Roth said.
Ewart is expected to pack down as either tight head or loose head prop in a squad currently dominated by forwards.
"We probably need another back, an outside centre," Roth said.
"Oliver Groves is leading the boys fairly well and Cormack McHenry has stepped up. All the boys are going really good."
The Pythons will play the first game of the day before taking a break for another trial to be held before returning to the field for the third game of the day.
