It's the day his Tigers travel to Cowra to play his junior club Cowra Magpies in this year's Woodbridge Cup.
But first things first.
Grant is this week solely focused on this weekend's Woodbridge opponents the Cargo Blue Heelers who they host at Tom Clyburn Oval on Sunday, April 7.
The Heelers have struggled to match it with the top sides in recent years but Grant is expecting an improved showing from the Tiger's first round opponents.
"They've been struggling the last couple of years but the word is they have a few locals back this year," he said.
"We can't take them lightly, or any side in this comp.
"It's going to be a lot tighter from top to bottom than it was last year," he said.
In his second season with the Tigers, Grant has high hopes for the side.
"We should go pretty good, we've got the majority of the same side we had last year when we fell one short in the preliminary (final)," he said.
"I think we're pretty strong."

And that strength all starts from the back with the Tigers in the form of Ryan Clarke.
"He starts our sets off really well from kick returns. He's very elusive, good on his feet," Grant said.
On Sunday the Tigers expect to be at, or close to, full strength after going into the recent Blayney Woodbridge Knockout minus several of the side's expected starters.
"It was good to see our depth is there this year,' Grant said.
This Sunday marks a new era for Woodbridge newcomers the Cowra Magpies and Blayney Bears with both clubs making the decision to leave Group 10.
Ironically the two old foes meet at Cowra in round one.
