Elsey's dedication and talent were on full display during the trials held in Parkes on March 26, where she became victorious in three out of four matches.
Elsey is now gearing up for the Country High School State Championships scheduled to take place in Sydney during Term 2.
This event will see Elsey pitting her skills against some of the finest young squash players from across the state.
The Canowindra High School squash teams are also making waves in the sporting arena, with both the boys and girls squads making a mark in the recent squash knockout competition.
On April 4, in Boorowa, the Canowindra High School girls' squad displayed exceptional talent, securing victories in all their matches and advancing to the next round of the competition.
In other sports news, on Wednesday, March 28, Canowindra High School held its annual athletics carnival.
Gardiner house was looking to make it a swimming/ athletics double in 2024 but Hall and Gilbert were out for victory.
The enthusiasm and participation levels were of a high standard from the beginning in the 1500m races and 100m events.
Congratulations to Emily Thomas who broke her own Open Girls record by 30cm throwing 27.49m.
Gilbert reigned supreme and took out victory!
