Scoring four tries to Peak Hill's five the boot of Kate Price was the difference with the Tigresses putting their noses in front at the right time, a try by Amy Harrison sealing victory 24-20.
The Tigresses started the game well but after giving away a penalty Peak Hill struck first to lead 4-0.
Amy Harrison, who finished with a double, hit back for the Tigresses, showing good pace and footwork to cross under the posts.
Kate Price's conversion gave the Tigresses the lead 6-4.
In what was to prove a see-sawing affair Peak Hill hit back by putting the ball over the line between two Tigresses defenders to regain the lead 8-6.
Tigresses then hit back with Amy White throwing a dummy and slipping through the defence.
Kate Price again converted and the Tigresses were in front 12-8.
A missed tag allowed Peak to hit back and score in the corner and level up the scores at the half time break.
The momentum remained with Peak Hill when the sides returned to the field, the home side starting the second stanza in great style.
After a penalty clever play from the Peak Hill half saw her cross to take the score to 16-12 before Tigresses try scoring machine Laura Price crossed.
Her sister Katie converted to put the Tigresses back in front 18-16.
After consecutive sets pressuring the Tigresses Peak Hill were in again, but once again they were off target with the boot, leading by two before Amy Harrison weaved her magic to give the Tigresses the win.
FIRST GRADE ALSO WINNERS
Canowindra First grade remain leaders of the Woodbridge Cup after a 50-20 win over the Peak Hill Roosters.
Scoring nine tries to four the Tigers, after an early arm wrestle which saw a scoreless first 10 minutes the Tigers slowly but surely asserted their authority to record a comfortable win.
First half tries to Josh Cooney (2), Zac Hunt, Joe Treasure the Tigers showed no mercy in the second half adding to their tally with tries to Ryan Clarke (2), Nathan Whatman and Jack Grant.
Joe Treasure had a good day with the boot converting seven from eight.
