Described as the village of murals, Eugowra invites visitors to explore its historical treasures and embrace the stunning landscapes.
But it's not just about the sights - it's about the resilience and unity of its people that make Eugowra truly special.
On November 14, 2022, the beautiful town of Eugowra was hit by a devastating flash flood, the likes of which had never been seen there before.
It hit with such speed that there was no way to prepare, and over 150 people were airlifted to safety.
The flood severely damaged 50 per cent of the town.
Despite this, the community has shown incredible strength and determination.
They are slowly but surely rebuilding their town, proving their resilience and unity.
This spirit of perseverance is what sets Eugowra apart and makes it a contender for the award.
With voting ended on May 13, all that remains is to wait and see if Eugowra will bring home the NSW Top Tiny Tourism Town Award for 2024.
