School principal, Mr Mac says "It has been wonderful to see so many of our young people and their families taking advantage of this great program in readiness for 'Big School".
The 20 days the students attend Transition has many benefits to those who take part, including growing in independence, understanding school routines as well as building relationships with peers and teachers.
The main focus of the program is for parents and their children to smoothly transition from preschool to 'Big School' with ease and confidence.
It aims to set up our little people with all the skills required to commence school in 2025 as 'ready to learn' students.
Mr Mac says "the positive response from families and staff involved in the program has been overwhelming. It benefits every student involved, regardless of which primary school their parents choose to send them to".
Providing a positive 'BIG SCHOOL' experience, collaborating with preschools, carers and educators as well as providing a happy, safe and nurturing environment sets our little learners up for school success.
This valuable program will commence on Monday, July 29 and will continue throughout terms 3 and 4 with the exceptions of school holidays.
