Phil Donato MP extended his congratulations, stating, "congratulations to Canowindra Branch of the CWA on 100 years of birthday celebrations".
"Throughout wars, depressions, natural disasters, pandemics, and everything else, the CWA has been a constant in providing important advocacy and support," he said.
"Congratulations to everyone involved. I wish you all the best for many more birthdays into the future," Mr Donato said.
Andrew Gee MP also highlighted the CWA's significant role, reflecting on its history, "at the time Canowindra and Australia were still recovering from the First World War".
"The CWA's mission then and now is to support country women and children, and their record of advocacy and service to our communities is simply extraordinary."
"Whenever our communities have needed them, the CWA has been there, building our region and building our country," Mr Gee said.
Mr Gee also said, "today we had a wonderful celebration in honor of Canowindra CWA's centenary, with members coming from all over the region".
"The branch is still as active and vibrant as it was 100 years ago. So, Happy 100th Canowindra CWA and thank you so much for all you have done to help so many in our region. Here's to the next 100."
